Acceptable Use Policy
Rules for safe, fair and lawful use of Trust Force hosting, email, DNS and related services.
Purpose of this policy
This Acceptable Use Policy protects Trust Force clients, servers, networks, suppliers and the wider internet community. It applies to all hosting, domain, email, DNS, client-area, support and related services provided by Trust Force.
Prohibited activities
You may not use Trust Force services for illegal, harmful, abusive or disruptive activity. This includes content, scripts, files, links, email activity or network behaviour that damages Trust Force, other clients, upstream providers or third parties.
- Spam, bulk unsolicited email, phishing or email spoofing
- Malware, viruses, botnets, credential theft or exploit kits
- Hacking, scanning, brute-force attacks or unauthorised access attempts
- Copyright infringement, counterfeit goods or illegal downloads
- Fraud, scams, impersonation or misleading payment activity
- Hate, harassment, threats, doxxing or unlawful content
- Resource abuse that harms server stability or other clients
Email and messaging rules
Clients using email hosting must follow anti-spam rules and must not send unsolicited bulk messages. Mailing lists must use proper opt-in consent, unsubscribe handling and accurate sender information.
Compromised mailboxes may be suspended or restricted to protect server reputation and prevent blacklisting.
Resource and server stability
Hosting accounts must operate within package limits and fair usage expectations. Scripts that consume excessive CPU, memory, disk I/O, database resources, mail queues or network traffic may be limited, suspended or moved to a more suitable package.
Clients are responsible for securing websites, plugins, CMS installations, passwords and uploaded files.
Security response and suspension
Trust Force may suspend or restrict services immediately where there is spam, malware, security risk, abuse complaint, payment risk, network threat or legal requirement. Where practical, we will notify the client and provide a path to resolution.
Reporting abuse
Abuse reports should include the domain, IP address, URL, email headers, screenshots, timestamps or other evidence. Trust Force will review reports and take action where appropriate.
